Incredibly oversold

Entrance into the event was a very smooth process! We were a little taken aback that the concession stand was card only, but there was a woman that helped us with a prepaid visa card with ease. We ordered 2 8oz cans of wine and were shocked that the total was 33 dollars and change, but we havent been to a concert since before covid and prices everywhere are rising. At any rate, we took our drinks and went to find a seat. We were quite flabbergasted to find that it was standing room only, well before the concert started. We have been to this venue many times in the past with no issues...before Live Nation started running the show. As even more people crowded in, we made the decision to leave the venue and tailgate the concert. We are quite displeased that we paid the same amount for our tickets as the lucky people who were able to get a seat, but we had no such option. Perhaps selling seated tickets and standing tickets at different prices would have made more sense? At any rate, we learned a lot in preperation for our next concert there in a week, and we hope to have a better experience then.
